Malawi Farmer’s Coffee Shop

I was approached by coffee shop owner, Cameron McAllister, to help realise his vision when he needed to give his cafe space an update. I spent some time observing how customers interacted with the space from a user experience angle. I was able to make adjustments to the existing space as well as install some new furniture.

I designed and help install this raised bar area for individuals who may want to eat and drink alone.

This was my solution to incorporating the fridge into the style of the rest of the cafe and providing a space for customers to access fresh water themselves, allowing the staff to continue working undisturbed.

An additional bar section for people working on laptops. Cameron had an issue with too many tables being taken up by laptops we were able to come up with a solution to condense them together at the side.

Positioning the fridge here meant that queuing customers could browse additional consumables whilst waiting to be served.
